Edik went out for the practice session with the new rims and
shaved tires just to get the tires heated up so then we could
let them sit overnight for Sunday, but hit a big apex and
cracked one rim:

Qualifying went well with Steve qualifying first, Edik second, Sam third, rick fourth.
We decided to take off the wing
because it caused too much drag and got the front tires too hot:
Steve was pushed to the outside at the start of the race and
fell to 2nd with Edik leading:
Gus and Rick fighting for second:
Steve had a little spin and fell behind a bit, behind Sam:
Only H1 car on Saturday, behind all the H4 cars:

Edik was brake checked on the second to last lap by the H1
crx and hit the crx, then while going to downshift to 4th gear
for turn 9, it wouldn't go in so he spun and was stuck there for
a while until the car started again and he went on to finish in
6th with Rick in 1st, Steve 2nd, Don 3rd:
On Sunday we decided to run the 2 kosei k1's in the front:
Qualifying for Sunday:
Rick took the lead with Steve and Edik very close behind:
Steve passed Rick and Edik following close:
Following so close that he didn't see the edge of the track
and went off, ouch:
John Thawley in H1:
Battle between Rick and Steve continued with Rick taking the
checkered again.
Edik faught his way back to finish, passing Sam in 6th place.
He faught back with a bent right rear arm which can be seen

The season points race got much closer after this weekend.
Pretty bad weekend for us but we will be back for the next race.
